4. Payment Processing

All payment processing is handled by SumUp. We do not store, process, or have access to donor payment card information. Please refer to SumUp's privacy policy for information about how they handle payment data.

5. Gift Aid Data

When Gift Aid capture is enabled, donor information (name, address, email) is collected to comply with HMRC requirements. This data is:

  • Sent to your configured webhook endpoint (e.g., Google Sheets)
  • Stored temporarily on the device if offline, until successfully submitted
  • Not retained by Donation Station after successful submission

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your information, including:

  • Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS)
  • Secure storage using iOS Keychain for sensitive settings
  • PIN protection for admin settings
